Depending on your needs, we can simulate various vibration and shock conditions that products may face during extensive transport (e.g. road or aircraft transport) or in an industrial plant environment. Our vibration tests are carried out using the latest shaker technology, including electrodynamic shaker with slip table (combinable with a climatic chamber).
CSA Group’s testing labs are equipped with the latest technology to provide random and sine vibration tests as well as additional shock tests. A random test excites many different frequencies at once, over a specified range, while a sine vibration test, generates only one frequency at a time and sweeps over an existing frequency range and amplitude. Sine on random vibration testing is possible.
CSA Group offers vibration testing for specimens up to 160 kg. For sine vibration tests, accelerations up to 80 g are possible, and for shock tests up to 100 g (half sine). We can also perform vibration tests in a frequency range from 1 Hz to 2500 Hz with our shaker.

Vibration testing under relevant standards such as EN 60068-2-6 (sinusoidal), EN 60068-2-27 (shock), EN 60068-2-29 (bump) and EN 60068-2-64 (random vibration).
Further environmental simulation tests, such as climatic tests, corrosion tests and ingress protection tests can be combined with shock and vibration tests.
