Book corrosion tests for your products
Assess how resistant your products are to corrosive environmental influences they might experience in the field.
All required fields are marked with an asterisk.
CSA Group offers corrosion tests for specimens up to 50 kg and our salt spraying cabinet can hold up to 500l. Our corrosion tests can be performed with an increased temperature of +20°C to +55°C and a humidity of 100% r.H.
To evaluate the performance of metal, protective coatings and plating, CSA Group can perform salt mist tests and corrosion tests in artificial atmospheres (neutral salt spray tests, also known as NSS tests). Should you require any further corrosion testing, we have a large network of partner laboratories to help and we take care of all coordination with those labs so you have a single point of contact.
Using our salt spray chamber, we can simulate various external factors that may affect the corrosion behavior and resistance of your products during their lifetime, such as humidity, water, salt and/or temperature, which may harm processed materials over years and decades, leading to corrosion.
Expert support for your corrosion testing project
Many products are exposed to corrosive environmental influences such as humidity or salt water during normal operation. With CSA Group's salt mist tests, also known as salt fog tests and salt spray tests, these influences can be simulated in a controlled environment. The corrosive influences your products may be exposed to over years and decades in the field are reproduced to assess their corrosion behavior and resistance. Equipped with technologically advanced laboratories, CSA Group can carry out corrosion tests for various industries, such as automotive, oil and gas, construction, and railway.
Direct access to technical experts to help you navigate the corrosion testing process.
Accredited testing lab according to DIN EN ISO IEC 17025 by DAkkS to offer corrosion tests and help you comply with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
Corrosion testing under relevant standards such as EN 60068-2-11 KA (salt mist tests), ISO 9227 (corrosion tests in artificial atmospheres; salt spray tests) and ASTM 117 (salt spray tests).
Full suite of environmental simulation tests, such as climatic tests, IP tests, mechanical shock and vibration tests, can be combined with corrosion tests.
